As a child I was always fascinated by the beauty of flowers. My mother was a floral designer and I spent a lot of time helping her create her work. It didn't take me long to learn the ticks of the trade. In 2004 my mother passed away, I wasn't sure how I would go on. I began to notice that house was filled with floral arrangements from her funeral. I realized that through my pain and sorrow I was surrounded by beauty and love. The next day I went to Michael's Craft store and I started making arrangements for my friends and family for Christmas presents. At the time I lived in an apartment, which was starting to look like a flower shop. One morning my aunt Kristi came over and she was interested in starting a business. We spent a lot of time going over different ways to sell and market our arrangements. As I was looking online I checked my email and came across an e-mail form a friend, she sent me an invite to a Partite Party. It was as if a light bulb went off in my head, we could have silk floral arrangements parties. Kristi and I came up with games, hostess plan and gifts for having the party. Providing the venue and food for all the parties made all the difference to our customers. We had our first party and it was a big success.
Our arrangements are not just an arrangement like you see everywhere, but are looked at like a piece of art. We are known for of using materials and flowers to create a pleasing and balanced composition. One thing that set us apart from the competitors is we sell our arrangements under $40 dollars. We try to look outside the box for our design, using different methods to create an arrangement. For example when creating an arrangement we use the bottom of the vase as the focal point, putting flowers and unusual items to attract your eye from the top of arrangement to the bottom.
Our design is unique and one of a kind. I think the best thing about our business is that the arrangements are made out of love and support from my mother who gives us inspiration from above.
