    Heat

    • Using a warmed rice bag or a warm, moist compress on your forehead and face can reduce the pain and facial swelling that can result from sinus pressure.

    Steam

    • Holding your head over a warm bowl of water, using a humidifier in your bedroom at night or spending time in a steamy bathroom or sauna can reduce sinus congestion and pressure.

    Liquids

    • Drinking plenty of non-caffeinated, non-alcoholic beverages, such as tea, juice, water and chicken broth, can help loosen the mucus and reduce the swelling that contribute to sinus pressure.

    Rinses

    • Using a saline mist spray or a neti pot to rinse your sinuses can help loosen mucus and reduce the swelling that make sinus pressure worse.

    Cleaning

    • If your sinus pressure is triggered by allergies, cleaning your home and laundry with natural cleaners such as vinegar, borax and baking soda can wash away allergens such as dust, pollen and dander.

    Rest

    • Getting as much rest as possible can help your body fight sinus infections, and elevating your head with several pillows while you lie down can promote the drainage of mucus, which can reduce sinus pressure.
