The town of Warwick, New York, in Orange County offers a variety of attractions. In the summer, farm markets sell locally-grown vegetables and fruits. Apple picking is popular in the fall. Visitors to Hudson Valley will find no shortage of activities. - Applewood Winery is one of Hudson Valley's farm wineries that produce wines from their own locally-grown grapes and fruit. Its wines are only sold at the winery. Applewood produces several varieties of wine including chardonnay, Riesling, Cabernet franc and Merlot. Fruit wines include blackberry and blueberry. The winery is closed January through March. From April to September and November to December the winery is open on weekends from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Visitors during these months can visit Applewood between 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday through Sunday.

This family-friendly attraction offers free beginning ski and snowboard lessons for beginners of all ages. Group and private lessons are also available. Trails of various difficulty, from easy through expert, give you the opportunity to challenge yourself or ski at your leisure. Every trail winds its way back to the lodge.
