Boost Self Confidence
Many of us have suffered from a lack of self confidence at some stage in our lives and overcoming it can sometimes be somewhat difficult.
There are many reasons why this can affect us, be it from childhood or a boss telling us we are not good enough.
It all has a detrimental effect.
When I was a child I was constantly told that I was only of average intelligence and would not amount to much.
For many years this had an extremely profound effect on my life and did nothing to boost self confidence as I wholeheartedly believed this to be true.
Consequently, I was frightened of my own shadow and this anxiety haunted me until my early twenties as a result.
However, the positive result that has emanated from my experience is that it has enabled me to give confidence to others and in so doing has boosted my self confidence.
In knowing how being constantly belittled and humiliated can affect a person's life, this has given me more perception in helping others in similar situations.
One of the secrets to boost self confidence is constantly telling yourself and believing that you are good enough, that you are capable no matter what others might say or think.
It is all in your hands and self help is the only answer.
To improve your mind or your overall knowledge can only be achieved by yourself.
You have been blessed with the ability of being able to read and to read is to learn and avail yourself of as much knowledge as possible to follow your path to success.
As you know adversity is all around you and to see those less fortunate than yourself can have an extremely humbling effect on your life.
To behold the victims of war or accident who have recently lost limbs, smiling and joking, can teach you an enormous amount about yourself and others.
The lack of self confidence can be overcome by determination.
You have got to be determined to prevent your shyness and lack of self esteem to consume you.
Empower yourself to overcome these traits.
Since my early experiences were overcome I have conducted my life with the philosophy that nobody is better than me but I am no better than anybody else - everyone is equal.
You will find that in many cases you are belittled by people who do this to cover up their own inadequacies or lack of self confidence: this is a common trait in human nature.
So by convincing yourself that you are capable of anything and with determination you will discover that a lot more can be achieved.
This can be confirmed as it is a known fact that each person only uses a very small percentage of their brain power that they have been blessed with.
So with a little effort over a period of time you can boost self confidence to do or be whatever you choose.
