- 3). On the tour, watch more than 200 cows being milked at once in the modern barn facility, check out the herd as they pasture and visit a calf nursery and have a chance to feed and pet a baby calf.
- 4). Pack a picnic lunch to enjoy inside the Welcome Center Barn at tour's end, or purchase hot dogs, pretzels and Shamrock ice cream at the Ice Cream Parlor. Finish the tour with a visit to the onsite dairy museum and gift shop.
- 5). Set aside an hour for the drive from downtown Phoenix. Call the dairy office at (602) 477-2462 the day of your tour to confirm the tour tram will be running in case of inclement weather.
