General Information:

Nu Skin Enterprises is a direct selling corporation headquartered in Utah. lt is also publicly traded on the New York Stock Exchange, with revenue greater than 800 million dollars. Nu Skin launched in June of 1984. Blake M. Roney started NuSkin with less than $5,000 start-up capital from his own pocket. ln October of that same year, Nu Skin incorporated. NuSkin Enterprises is currently a global company, reaching many 41 countries, plus Australia, New Zealand, and Europe, to name a few.

Nu Skin Products:

There are more than 820,000 independent distributors who use, sell and recruit others to become independent retailers. Nu Skin markets skin, cosmetic, oral care, general nutrition, sports nutrition, weight management, botanical, and hair care products through three subdivisions; NuSkin, Pharmanex, and Big Planet.

NuSkin products are developed from natural ingredients. Much of Nu Skin's earnings are spent on research and development of new and innovative products. They have even partnered with Stanford's school of medicine for scientific research in dermatology, ethnobotany, and cosmetic science.

NuSkin Opportunity:

NuSkin business opportunity involves 2 things: retail marketing and sponsoring new distributors.

Distributors make money two ways:

1. Selling the products
2. Earning commission off the product sales of downline.

To get started in Nu Skin, it costs $35.00 with an annual fee of $20.00. However, you are required to move large amount of products to qualify for commissions. NuSkin enforces some stringent demands and quotas.

You don't earn money by signing up a new distributor. The money is created when a product is purchased or sold. This makes the company very product-driven. Therefore, it's not the quantity of distributors you have in your group that is going to determine the money you make. You success is going to be determined by how successful your Nu Skin distributor is at buying and promoting the products. You can sell the products at 30% markup. The entire profit goes to you. The commission for you sponsor comes from the wholesale dollars you paid out for the products you purchased.

There are levels within the NuSkin business model. The first level is that a new distributor should shoot for is to become an Executive. An Excutive has 5 first level distributors who are reaching a specific sales volume. To move up from the Executive level, the group sales volume must increase and a number of the distributors in your downline must become "break-away" executives who have also produced a downline.

There are 7 levels in NuSkin:

1. Qualifying Executive
2. Executive
3. Gold Executive
4. Lapis Executive
5. Ruby Executive
6. Diamond Executive
7. Blue Diamond Executive

As a NuSkin distributor you earn:

-Fast-Start payments when you sell Fast-Start Product Packages to your customers and distributors

- $285.00 USD ($325.75 CA) package price

- 2OO PSV

- $50 paid to seller

- Up to 30% profit on retail customer purchases

- 5% commission on L1 sales generated monthly

Nu Skin Training:

NuSkin University offers education to Nu Skin distributors. It is a complete internet instruction and education source that is used to empower employees as well as distributors with the information they need to become successful. Nu Skin University consists of two main parts:

1. eLearning courses :products and business related online training courses and presentations.
2. online library : complete Nu Skin product information database.

The NuSkin training program offers courses through e-learning system. A distributor can learn about products, skins care, health management. Having such knowledge will make it easier for the distributor to address prospects about the products, thereby helping with the selling of the products. It is up to the Nu Skin distributor to enroll themselves into the online courses offered by the NuSkin University.

Skills are imperative to success in business. This is why it is a necessity that the NuSkin distributor participate in as many of the trainings offered by NuSkin Enterprises. Finding people to talk to may be moderately easy at first. Most network companies will suggest that you talk to your family and friends first, and this is fine, if you feel comfortable with using this type of marketing.

But, if you find that it is not simple to talk to your family and friends, and if you are struggling discovering customers and prospects, you can always resort to using an online marketing system which will train you on how to use the internet to market your business. Another extra advantage to using a marketing system, is that you can use the system to train your downline, thus, giving yourself more time to focus on your marketing.

There is also a sales funnel that is provided within most marketing systems that will allow NuSkin distributors to generate an income while building their NuSkin business. Buying products for your Nu Skin business will be a obligation, but the cost can be offset by the income generated through the sales funnel. Even if the offline marketing tactics taught by NuSkin is the preferred method by some Nu Skin distributors, there are always going to be those folks who prefer using the internet to build their business. This is an additional gain to incorporating a marketing system into a markeing plan, to let flexibility in the marketing training to new NuSkin distributors. Not everybody is the same so why attempt to teach everyone the same strategies of marketing. Let them choose; NuSkin distributors are far happier than having to be forced to use marketing tactics they don't enjoy. Happy distributors are more prone to stay in business with you too.
