Requirements for a Quick Wedding in Las Vegas
- A woman and man who aren't related can apply to be married. Proof of age may be required. The application has to be obtained from the Marriage License Bureau at the Clark County Courthouse, and both parties must appear.
- The marriage license fee in the state of Nevada is $55. The license is valid only for weddings in Nevada.
- If either party has been married before, the divorce must be finalized in their home state before they can legally remarry in Vegas. Information must be supplied about the date and location of the divorce decree.
- Consent must be given in person by the parent or legal guardian at the time of the marriage application. Legal guardianship, along with identity, must be proven, and a birth certificate that is certified may be required.
- Children under the age of 16 must have their parent or legal guardian visit the Nevada state court to file action and pay court fees. The court order must be presented for the wedding to take place. The legal guardian(s) will need to show proof of legal guardianship.
