Sign-On Bonus

  • Certain companies provide sign-on bonuses for important or hard-to-fill positions. These positions are crucial to the business but are open due to labor shortages or turnover rates. In most cases, bonuses may range up to 20 percent of the amount of yearly salary the employee would receive during employment. The new hire would receive this bonus after completing a certain amount of hours within the industry. In most cases, the employee would receive it in two installments, one payment upon hire and the second within the allotted period.
