Perfume Allergies and Your Health
Do your allergies like your perfume People every day are finding that living with and running from what are among one of the most uncomfortable allergy disorders is getting harder to manage than ever.
Though I am not trying to say that any allergy symptom is worse than another, but having an allergy type that leaves you having an outbreak in public, makes It extremely hard to control your symptoms.
Being susceptible to something that Is used and consumed by others Is very difficult in our current society.
Allergies react differently within all people.
This Is based on each persons individual immune system and there tolerance to that particular allergen.
Now from previous reports we know that allergens are trigger points within a persons system that reacts in releasing histamines though the blood.
This Is basically the body over reacting within itself as a defense type of protection method.
When this happens the person typically will show some signs of discomfort or pain.
Allergens make me do it There are many types of reaction symptoms; they vary from the amount of exposure and the sensitivity level of that person.
Some of the more common are listed below, but remember these are just the basic.
Anyone that suffers from severe allergies should know what they generally will experience.
Many people that do not suffer from allergies, some times do not fully understand, how what may just be a very strong odor or may not even smell anything at all could be so trouble sum for another.
Please understand that a person with a hypersensitivity for certain chemicals and there odors, are much more receptive to what for them is an uncomfortable allergen.
A simple example might be, two people entering a room at the same time, the person with out the allergy may not sense anything, while someone that is even mildly hypersensitive may have a reaction to the presence of a cologne wore by someone that had left the room more that an hour before hand.
These reactions can be * Coughing * Sneezing * Irritation in eyes, throat, sinuses, skin * Heavy or limited breathing * Abdominal pain or discomfort * Migraine headaches Understanding your Allergy This type of allergy Is not limited to just perfumes and colognes.
However a person that has developed this type of sensitivity usually started with a more mild condition that over time has matured and generally becomes more sensitive.
Like all other allergies there Is no cure for this hypersensitivity.
Someone that has this disorder should be aware of what triggers It and avoid these allergen types.
The problem with this type of allergy Is that It Is extremely difficult to narrow down certain chemicals, or products that will set this type of allergy off, as there are so many triggers that are being used and displayed throughout society.
When someone knows of a product that may contain these allergens and monitors there distance to that chemical by not using It and avoidance, they are still exposed though other peoples use of that product.
Again reminding us how this exposure can be as distant as just a simple residue residing from days old, to as common as being in the same room with someone that has just sprayed perfume that morning or dried there blouse using a particular fabric softener.
The list of these chemicals that are commonly found in perfumes and many beauty products vary and are extremely large in numbers.
Some of the more common * Acetone * Benzaldehyde * Benzyl Acetate /Alcohol * Ethanol * Elhyl Acetate * Limonene * Various Pinene and Terpinene Again this list does not even begin to cover the complete number and type of products, because this article is not about these particular chemicals I will end with the bold statement that anyone showing a reaction to there beauty products should only begin to wonder why, but they should review some of the FDA reports that are available about the actual products they are using.
So in closing, there are people that really are extremely sensitive to the ever so passive sent.
In society we take for granted what others may appreciate as being well groomed and smelling nice, but for every, fifteen people that say you smell nice, there may be one that still has a negative reaction hours after you have left the room.
