"Roulette Betting - A Simple Betting Strategy"

Roulette is really not a very complicated game. When the wheel spins, the ball has 36 different numbers, plus 0 and 00 that it can land on. Each number has a probability of coming out and a payout associated with it. The house has about a 5.5% edge in this game, therefore, to beat the house, you need to be very conservative in your play. This article will give you a simple strategy to help you beat the house at roulette.

First thing you want to do is keep it simple. The simplest bets are the even money bets such as black/red or odd/even. Choose one of them. It doesn't matter which because they all have the same probability of coming out. What you want to do though is chart your table for 10 spins and see if one of those 4 comes out at least 5 times or more. If it does, begin betting on that one thing.

Let's say black comes out 6 times out of 10 spins. On spin 11, bet two times the table minimum on black. You'll see why in a second. So say the minimum is $10. Bet $20. If black comes out, what you want to do on your next bet is drop down to the table minimum, or $10. Why are we doing this?

Let's say you lose that second spin, which is quite likely since the house has a 5.5% advantage thanks to the 0 and 00. Even if you DO lose, look at what has just happened. You've won the first spin, winning $20, lost the second spin, losing $10 and come out $10 ahead. You've played the house even (winning one and losing one) and yet, you are ahead. That's why this simple betting system is so powerful.

If you keep winning, you then go to $15, $20, $25, $30, and so on until you lose. You then go back to your original $20 bet and start all over again. If you lose 3 straight spins, you walk away from the table. It's simple and it's effective. If you use this system, you will find that you will walk away a winner more times than you walk away a loser.
