Singapore beaches are well maintained, clean and environmentally "Green". Air polution is also low due to strict national regulations and the surrounding sea. Sembawang Park: Sembawang Park is a tranquil park with distinct blue dice design, situated in the north of Singapore facing Johore straits. Sembawang area is named after the Sembawang Tree (Mesua ferruginea), which can be found at the car park C1. Nature blends in with history and heritage of this calm and serene park, away from the bustle of the city. The park boasts a beautiful beach side, which is a popular fishing ground and one of the few remaining natural beaches of Singapore.
The park has interesting links to the naval history of Singapore; the Beaulieu House, the Sembawang jetty and the remains of the 1920s Seletar Pier still stand in the park, reflecting the past. The walkways inside the park are restored old pathways used during British occupation. The Sembawang Shipyard to the west of the park was a British Naval Base from 1938 to 1968. The park is also surrounded by other places of historical interest like the Admiralty House, Kampong Wak Hassan, Masjid Petempatan Melayu Sembawang and Sembawang memorial.
People are drawn to the park on weekdays for jogging and taking a stroll. In the weekends, families and friends get together for barbequing, camping, fishing and swimming, bringing a festive ambience to the seaside of Sembawang Park.
From bus interchange at the Sembawang MRT, bus 882 loops at the Park every 20 minutes. Car parking is available at both the entrances (Sembawang Road and Tuah Road)
West Coast Park: Take services 176 and alight directly in front of West Coast Park. You can also take services 30, 51, and 143, alight in front of Clementi Woods Park (West Coast Road) and take a 5 minutes walk through West Coast Link to West Coast Park Area 3 (near to the Adventure Playground). Service 175 from Clementi Interchange also stops along West Coast highway parallel to West Coast Park.
Changi Beach: One of the oldest coastal parks in Singapore, this place brings back memories for Singaporeans who frequented this area in the sixties and seventies. Approximately 3.3km long, this linear park has stretches of pristine white beaches dotted with coconut palms, BBQ pits, park benches and shelters.

Pasir Ris Beach: The nearest Train station is Pasir Ris Station. From the station, you may take SBS 403 from Pasir Ris bus interchange and alight at the stop after the round about.
Alternatively you may take a 10-15 minutes walk into the park into Area 2 via the entrance located at the traffic stop opposite the bus interchange.
