Why Internet Home Advertising Beats the Newspaper

The days of books, fliers and newspapers are coming to an end.
It used to be that newspaper advertising was the way to go.
The paperboy would go up and down the neighborhood delivering the newspaper from house to house and people would read the classified ads and see what's new on the market this week.
That is how many people found their houses and their real estate agent as well.
As time has gone by, the internet has become more massive.
National real estate websites have popped up everywhere and real estate agents have continuously created sites for their clients as well.
When you type in your city and the word, "homes" into the search engine, you can look at the top of the page and see how many results there are.
Every one represents the number of times the search engine has spotted your search term in a website.
It can easily get into the millions.
The internet is also much more convenient than the newspaper.
You could be in the middle of anything and when you get a few minutes break, you can browse for your dream home online.
You won't be alone because over 80% of people who are searching for a new house are doing the same thing you are because it's just so easy to do.
If you are planning on selling a home, especially a for sale by owner, there are many places you can advertise online for free, whereas an ad in the newspaper is expensive and rarely gets prospects to call.
The newspaper occasionally offers a little black and white thumbnail size photo of a house that might entice you if you were somehow unable to go online and see a 5X7 high definition photograph of not only the front of the house, but of the entire interior too.
Some sites even have virtual tours.
How would you ever find something like that in the newspaper?
