Is article writing just about informing the reader? While it is true that most articles are meant to serve as an informational source they are much more than a disposable tidbit or fact.
Some online companies actually use them to build big business, entice potential consumers and guide readers away from competitors! Now that sounds a little much for a little ole article consisting of only a few keywords and facts! But, it isn't, the right combination of words published online are ways of gaining sells, informing the public and yes leading consumers right to a product or service.
It is exactly the same as watching the hesitant consumer in a department store until the clerk begins "hard selling" the product, then it is off to the cash register they go! Articles Equal Cash
  • Articles should evoke an emotion from the reader
  • Call the reader to action through an emotional spark
  • Choose words wisely
  • Remember people are emotional spenders
  • Sell up the product or service, the reader needs to know why it is the best for them
Helping Readers Make Decisions Some people look to articles to help them make decisions, but most are simply looking for assistance in getting over that initial drawback that comes when making a purchase.
Words are powerful tools that can be used to a company's advantage; in fact they can and often do make the sale! Regardless of why the consumer is reading that article or seeking out information, they are interested and those interested can be persuaded to make purchases.
So, in essence article writing is an important way to inform readers, however it is a much more powerful way of persuading readers to sign up, or buy a product.
