    • 1). Remove the door guide at the base of the doorway, using a screwdriver. Use a small piece of masking tape to mark its location. If the door guide is installed over carpet, mark the screw holes on the masking tape to relocate the guide accurately.

    • 2). Stand inside the closet and position the door near the center of the opening to return the door rollers to the header track.

    • 3). Tilt the door bottom outward 6 to 8 inches while raising the top of the door level with the track. If you are remounting the outer door, the inner door can be left in its closed position. If you are remounting the inner door, tilt both doors outward to enable the inner door to snap into the upper track. Once the door is tilted out sufficiently, the door's rollers will "hook" over the lip of the track and snap into place.

    • 4). Allow the door to hang straight down and test that it moves smoothly back and forth in the track.

    • 5). Replace the floor door guide to its original location.
