Teaching dog tricks is one of the biggest pleasure of having a dog in your life.
Dog trick training is the best method to genuinely interact with your dogs and it is a sure procedure to establish a powerful bond.
Here are some entertaining dog tricks which will make sure a great understanding between you and your little pup.
1) WAVE It can be a circular movement of your hand.
Sitting beside to your dog give the command.
If dog doesn't do anything keep touching his/her paw until he/she lifts it up.
Reward ultimately require him/her to lift paw higher.
Always reward whenever he/she does it.
2) FIND IT The plan is to have the dog use his/her smelling sense to find a hidden things.
Show the dog a treat, then let the dog see you place it under the bed about 7 feet away from the dog.
Let the dog smell the odor of the treat on your hand.
Give command to your dog or say "find it".
Reward with praise when he/she finds the treat.
After this step keep the treat little far from dog.
The dog will have to spot the location.
Eventually, you will place the treat and make sure he/she can't see where you put the treat.
3) SAY PRAYERS The objective is to have your dog put his head down in his paws on the signal and to end the activity on the command "amen".
Put a treat on the chair between your legs.
Give command "say prayer" and encourage him/her to lift both front paws on to the chair between your legs.
Then give command "amen" and reward with the treat.
4) SPEAK This is usually an easier one to teach if your dog likes to bark.
First select a hand signal that is not similar to any other.
give command to your dog "speak".
when he/she does, reward with treat immediately.
If your dog doesn't bark readily, continue to tell command until he/she gets really fed up with you and barks.
Then quickly give him/her a treat.
5) CRAWL Hold treat in right hand with other hand on dog's withers.
Move right hand (in which you are holding treat) up and down while saying "crawl".
When dog moves forward, hold him/her down with hand on back.
Now move treat hand away from dog.
So dog has to walk to get treat.
Reward after any movement.
