Cool Anime Layout Tutorial

1). Open the software of your choice and create a new document by clicking "File," "New Document." The size for the new document should have a width and length of 600 pixels. For programs like Microsoft Paint, the default size will do.
2). Fill the layer with a dark gray, using the Paint Bucket tool.
3). Select the Shapes tool from the Tool palette and select the rounded rectangle. Create a rectangular shape in the center of your document.
4). Create the banner. Choose a few images of your favorite anime character or create one yourself. Remember copyright laws---if you need to find an image, it's best to look at royalty-free stock photos. Place the image on the top-right or top-left corner of your document.
5). Add text below your image by clicking the Text tool from the Tools palette. Any font will work, but Arial set in all caps will look nice. You now have a cool basic anime layout that can be used for MySpace or your own personal website.
