  Midlothian, Texas is located about 20 miles southwest of the metropolitan Dallas area. Midlothian has a population of less than 15,000, but the city has a variety of attractions that are less than a 30-minute drive away. The Dallas-Fort Worth area features five professional sports franchises and 14 different museums and historical venues.
