Staying active is great!
We all know that thinking about going to the gym or just getting on a treadmill can be the furthest from our minds or not even possible with what is going on in your world at the moment. The key is to think of the little things to stay active.
You could take the family to the park for the evening on a nice day. Instead of taking the elevator at the mall did you think about taking the stairs? Don't go the closes parking spot at the grocery store. The extra 20 feet isn't going to shorten the time. This will help burn more calories and you really aren't adding more effort into doing it and also will help speed up your metabolism.
Soda pop = evil
Did you know that you can lose about 5 to 10 pounds by just switching to drinking water, crystal light, and even a diet soda. Believe me this is very true. So get rid of all that soda pop from your house right now. I mean it. It sounds so simple, but when you have others in your household and maybe they don't really need or want to lose weight it will be difficult. So you need to make sure you focus on the reason why you need to STOP drinking soda pop.
No fancy machines needed
Like we talked about before you might not have the time or means to go the gym all the time or even at all. That is perfectly ok. There is so much that you can do in your own home and using nothing more that your own body weight to do this.
Start slow so you don't burn yourself out remember you just had a baby and still have allot going on. Take about 30 minutes a couple times a week to do some basic Crunches, push-ups, squats, and lunges. Then once you start feeling good you will find yourself doing more on your own.
If you follow these three tips then you'll be on your way to dropping that baby weight in no time!
