How to Make Liquid Foam
- 1). Choose a flat stable surface that is easily cleanable to use as the location for the liquid foam to be made. The reaction that creates the foam is a bit unpredictable and often leaves behind a large, foamy mess.
- 2). Measure the required vinegar into a measuring cup and add drops of food coloring until the vinegar has been turned a dark color. When the liquid is turned into foam the dark color lightens up dramatically.
- 3). Add the detergent and baking soda into a cylindrical container and swish them around to coat the bottom of the container. Creating more surface area causes a faster chemical reaction to occur.
- 4). Pour the colored vinegar into cylindrical container and watch as the substances are almost instantly turned into a liquid foam. Surround the foam with towels to keep the mess contained while cleaning up.
