Martti Kuoppa creates Jungle Rider
Their new frame, the Holiday [http://junglerider.net/products.html], demonstrates this commitment to strength through the use of straight tubes and simple, proven geometry that is sure to provide riders with plenty of room as well as peace of mind in its structural stability. The frame also comes in three different sizes to accommodate a variety of riders.
And as if that weren't enough reason to check out Jungle Rider [http://junglerider.net], Martti will be donating a portion of all the company's sales to support the Ground Tactics competition in an effort to encourage riders to develop their skills and get more involved in the flatland scene.
Martti Kuoppa is leading a new movement aimed at keeping the sport pure and drawing financial support from the people who care about it the most. Shortly after launching Jungle Rider, Martti Kuoppa noted:
"I want to find a way in flatland to support flatland inside the market and not be depending on the big companies that basically have nothing to do with flatland. That is really the problem in flatland sponsoring. All the money is coming outside of flatland and we are really depending on something we shouldn´t be depending."
"I am taking a big risk... and I am putting the very last of my savings into Jungle Rider, but I am not ready to give up on flatland. I am at this age it means that there will be a day that I am not able to ride at this level (physically) anymore, but I still want to stick to the background of flatland and help to keep it alive (it is difficult to make flatland grow but it is possible to keep it alive).
I am not asking for mercy here or anything like that. My ideology is very pure behind all this and I want to show a positive way to support flatland.
Jungle Rider is about hardcore flatland, and strong components are here to stay (obviously)."
