How to Do a Woven Friendship Bracelet

1). Measure and cut 25 inches of each color of embroidery thread.
2). Tie all of the threads in a knot, leaving about two inches of tail. Use your masking tape to tape the tail to a hard surface, such as a desktop, tabletop or the wall.
3). Spread your strings apart so you can see each of the four strings. From left to right, imagine the strings as 1, 2, 3 and 4.
4). Loop string 1 over and under string 2. Holding string 2 with one hand, pull string 1 through, tightly forming a knot around string 2. Repeat this step a second time.
5). Take string 1, and repeat Step 4 around strings 3 and 4.
6). Repeat Steps 4 and 5 with string 2. Then string 3 and then 4. Repeat this process over and over until the bracelet is long enough to fit around your wrist. Tie the strands together into a knot.
7). Tie both ends of the bracelet into a knot around your wrist.
