This pain is caused by the pressure of the growing uterus that is coupled with the shifting of pelvic bones that are prepared to delivery. Hip pain can also be caused by hormone relaxin. Fortunately, if you suffer hip pain, there are some steps that you can take to ease the pain.

Home Remedies
This is the first step that you can take when you suffer hip pain. For this, you can use warm water in heating pad and apply on painful hip. You can also take a bath with warm water. But, you have to make sure that the temperature of the water is less than 100 degrees. This is because overheating temperature can damage your baby. Also, you can use ice instead of water.

In addition, you can sleep with a pillow between your knees. This is done in order to take the pressure off of the hip joint. You can also swim or do water exercise in your house to easy the pain in your hip by relieving your hips from pressure.

Exercise
This is the second step that you can take to ease your hip pain. But, you have to make sure that the exercise that you do is safe for you and your baby. For this, you can consider Pilates or yoga. In this case, when you are about to do the exercise, you have to make sure that your instructor knows that you are pregnant. So, he/she can do the correct movements that will not danger your baby. Also, you can do hip flexor exercise. This is an exercise that is done by holding onto a chair for stability and extending your legs to stretch hips.

Other Treatments
This is another step that you can take when you suffer hip pain when you are pregnant. For this, you will be massaged by a chiropractor. But, this is only safe if your pain is not severe. But if your hip pain is severe, you should consult it with your doctor. You doctor must be know what is best for you and your baby. Make sure that everything you do is safe for you and your baby.
