I do my grocery store shopping every week during Wednesdays.
It's been a part of my weekly chores since I became a full time mother of three.
Paying for additional help in the house is way beyond our budget so as difficult as it may be I take care of everything in the house.
Buying all the necessary things for the kitchen, meals, and whatnot comprises my grocery list, and it's never complete without sweet hampers which my kids and I truly love.
On the way to the grocery store there is a candy shop.
The candy shop has been there since I was in high school so I literally had grown with it.
Since the candy shop opened my family has been an avid patron of their products especially their scrumptious sweet hampers that contains different kinds of sweets - hard ones, succulent ones, some are sour, most are sweet, and nothing less of indulgently delicious.
Now that I have a family of my own, my love for the candy shop and the sweet hampers didn't change.
Our kitchen isn't whole without these tasty irresistible sweets by the table and the counter.
Not only does it provide an easy access for everyone in the house to dig in to some of the world's most delicious sweets but it also adds an element of joyfulness in the house because of its colourful baskets and beautiful arrangements.
After completing my shopping list from the grocery I would take my kids to the candy shops and let them choose which sweet hampers to buy.
I see myself in my kids as they happily go around the candy shop that has grown in size since it first opened many years ago.
A lot has changed around the shop but it continued to bring joy to the people of the town especially to the kids.
The sweets that we buy don't only come in handy when we want to indulge in sweetness but also every time when we have guests around or if I haven't prepared anything for a meal's desert.
After each trip to the grocery store and the candy shop for the sweet hampers, my kids will even help me unload the stuff that we bought.
Of course, they're all in-charge of the sweets and I'm left with the fish, meat, vegetables, and whatnot.
I gave up my career for my family and to do another job - being a mom.
Never have I regretted any single moment of my life so far.
In fact it was been exciting and sweet.
