DIY Dirt Bike Stand
- 1). Strap on the welding mask and work gloves. Hold the welding rod with one hand and the torch with the other.
- 2). Weld one end of the two pieces of 14-inch pipes together first, and repeat the process on the other two 14-inch pipes. You should have a two perfect "L" shaped steel pipes with equal length legs. Weld the tips of the two "L" shaped pipes together to connect them. This should form a perfect square.
- 3). Place each of the four 12-inch steel pipes on the four corners of the square vertically. Tilt them 2 inches slightly toward the middle of the square. Weld them one by one. Have someone hold each of the vertical steel pipes for a correct measurement while welding.
- 4). Place the 8 x 8 inch steel plate on the top of the 12-inch steel pipes. The corners of the plate should align with the tips of the pipes. Weld it solid. You now have a 10-inch high solid steel dirt bike stand.
