Ladies, if you have ever experienced a yeast infection you know just how painful and irritating it can be.
And if you experience them repeatedly, then I hope this article can help you out.
Too often women rush to the store and grab the first medication that promises to get rid of their infection.
The problem with this is that these medications only treat current symptoms and do nothing to help you stop experiencing further infections.
The good news is there are some things that you can do, that are natural, safe, and effective, to help you prevent getting any further infections.
If you've experienced a yeast infection before, then you are well aware of the symptoms.
But if you haven't, you need to know what the symptoms are.
The first symptom is normally vaginal irritation.
Oftentimes you'll experience a milky discharge that appears white in color.
And you'll usually experience a burning sensation when you urinate.
Trust me, I know that this isn't fun.
So what can you do to avoid getting one of these infections? One of the first things that you should do is also one of the easiest.
Stop wearing such tight clothing.
If you are woman that likes to wear thongs, it is time to put them away until you're over this infection.
As women we're all probably aware of the term granny panties.
You want to wear something comfortable that has minimal contact with your vagina.
You also want to avoid wearing tight jeans.
The next thing you want to do is drink lots of water, as this can help flush any unwanted toxins out of your system.
Avoid sugary foods and stop drinking sodas, as the sugar in the soda isn't going to help the infection at all, and may make it worse.
And I hate to tell you, but this includes diet sodas, as they still contain sugar.
