How to Paint a Picture on a Window
- 1). Clean the window you wish to paint with a formulated window cleaner and paper towels. This will ensure that the window is stripped of all dust particles and fingerprint oils that would linger behind and affect the painting.
- 2). Sketch out the picture that you'd like to paint with a glass marker. Create lines for color changes and blending points, and fill out extra details you'd like the drawing to have.
- 3). Dip a paint brush into glass-safe window paint, available at any craft store. Glide the brush over the window within the drawing to begin filling it with color. Apply the paint evenly over the glass. Use different brush stroke directions to create any texture effects you'd like. If your first coat of window paint is thin and see-through, wait for it to dry and apply another coat.
- 4). Allow the paint to dry completely.
