- 1). Click "Start," "All Programs," and click the Magic Jack software to start it. Make a note of the current proxy server and exit the software.
- 2). Click "Start," then "Run." Enter "cmd" as the program name, and press "Enter." Type the following in the newly-opened command window: "route -p add 67.106.133.198 mask 255.255.255.255 169.254.45.32" where "67.106.133.198" is the sample proxy server that you must avoid (replace with the proxy server Magic Jack was using when you invoked it). Hit "Enter."
- 3). Restart the Magic Jack software. It will pick a different proxy server this time.
