How to Knit in the Round
- 1). Cast on the desired number of stitches to either double pointed needles or circular needles.
- 2). Place a stitch marker on the right needle right after the last stitch that you cast on. This is important so that you can keep track of when you finish each row.
- 3). Slip the first stitch you cast on from the left hand needle to the right hand needle.
- 4). Slip the second stitch on the right hand needle (the last stitch you cast on) over the first stitch and on to the left hand needle.
- 5). Pull tightly on the yarn to secure your stitches.
- 6). Knit according to the directions in your pattern.
- 7). Cast off according to the directions in your pattern.
