How to Knit in the Round

1). Cast on the desired number of stitches to either double pointed needles or circular needles.
2). Place a stitch marker on the right needle right after the last stitch that you cast on. This is important so that you can keep track of when you finish each row.
3). Slip the first stitch you cast on from the left hand needle to the right hand needle.
4). Slip the second stitch on the right hand needle (the last stitch you cast on) over the first stitch and on to the left hand needle.
5). Pull tightly on the yarn to secure your stitches.
6). Knit according to the directions in your pattern.
7). Cast off according to the directions in your pattern.
