The Mayville Inn

• The Mayville Inn is a colonial-style hotel on the west side of Mayville. The inn has 29 rooms ranging from a standard queen-bed room to a whirlpool suite with a king bed. • Built in 1896 and named for John James Audubon, the Audubon Inn is a National Historic Landmark. The three-story brick building is an example of Queen Anne architecture, with pressed metal cornices and bays with a polygonal domed turret. The Audubon Inn has 16 rooms, including standard rooms and two-room executive suites. All rooms feature country Shaker decor. Each room has a private bathroom with a double whirlpool tub/shower, high speed Internet and cable television. A continental breakfast is included in the room rate.
