How to Slim Fast and Easy

This article is meant to help you slim fast and easy. If applied it will actually make you lose weight effortlessly. You have to set yourself up to win. If you get the mental aspect of slimming, your body has no option but to follow. This article is meant as an introduction.  There is more research and reading that needs to be done on your part.  But this article will give you an insight on what you may be doing wrong and how to get started on the right path.

This article is meant to find a deeper awareness of one self. It is meant to find the blocks that keep you from accomplishing your health and fitness goals. It is meant to give you the motivation and drive to follow through with what you started. It is meant to create patterns and habits that will move you to your goal effortlessly. It will help you remove stress, anxiety and worry from your life. And most important you will learn how to have fun doing it.

I believe that fitness is pretty simple. People make it out to be much more complicated than it really is. That statement has to be true. That is why everyone is buying the next great exercise equipment. They are trying the next fad diet or workout routine. And for most people it is this not going to work. Not because the program is bad or the diet does not work. It is because of what is going on in your mind. I will help explore this idea and get you to the point that being healthy and fit is your natural state.

Before we get started I want to point out that I will be using the goal of how to slim fast as the primary example. This is just to stay consistent throughout the document. You can change the slimming down goal with any other goal that you wish. The idea or step is to decide on what you truly want. Not think, yeah it would be nice, but this is what I want and I will not quit until this is achieved.

That may sound silly but most people never decide to be fit and healthy. You may say "I have decided that is why I am reading this article". Let me ask you this, have you done anything in the last month that that is in conflict with your goal?

I am assuming that you have tried slimming before. You probably lost some weight and then gained it all back. Why? You did not truly decide that this is what you wanted. I am just not a morning person and cannot get up and workout. The kids had something going on so I could not get my workout in. I will start tomorrow. Going out to dinner with my clients is part of my job. It's the holidays and this is how everyone eats. I could go on and on. There is rarely a good time to start and there are always going to be challenges and temptations.

The origin of decide is "deciden", which means to cut off. So if you tried and failed it really means that that you did not cut off your old ways, your old patterns and habits. Here is a simple little trick that may help you. Your goal should not be just to lose 20 lbs. The goal should be to transformer you into the person that is 20 lbs lighter. See the difference.

The weight you lose is just a number. You are still the same person. Your tendency will be to move back to where it was, back to its old habits and patterns, back to what you are most comfortable with. Not to mention the process of losing those 20 lbs will probably be based solely on will power. Will power only last for so long. Now if you transform into the person that is 20 lbs lighter the change will be permanent. This is because you now are different, your thoughts, patterns and habits are different. These patterns are of a person that is 20 lbs lighter and you will have no choice but to be that healthy fit person.

So the first step is to decide. Decide that you are going to be the person that is twenty pounds lighter. Decide that you will be at the level of health and fitness that you want. Decide that this is going to be a major priority and that you will consistently be working to become that new person, knowing deep down that it is possible and that you definitely can. There is true power in this. Decide now.

Once you decided there are three steps that you must do to Slim Fast.

1. Start a journal. I was told that a life worth living is a life worth recording. This will help you become aware of what you are doing on a consistent basis. With this new knowledge you can make better decisions. Record your weight, what you do and eat. Record your energy level and focus. You will be finding what works and be more aware of what you are doing wrong.

2. Write your decision or goal down on top of every page in your journal. By writing out your decision you are reaffirming that this is what you truly want. You started making this thought in your head real. Review your journal at least three times a day. The two most important times is first thing in the morning and right before you go to bed.

3. Do something immediately to move towards your goal. Again, convincing yourself that this is what you truly want. You should never make a goal without immediately doing something for its attainment. Do some push-ups or if you are at work look up an exercise routine. Just make sure that you do something.

This should be the first step in achieving any goal. Too many times in life we make too easy to fall back to our old habits and patterns. Decide and cut off any option of failure. Do something daily to achieve this new goal. If something does not seem to work, try something new. But if your mind believes that it is an actual must, it will find a way to get you there.
