Homemade Foam Party

    • 1). Select a 20 feet by 20 feet area for the party that can be safely exposed to soap and moisture. The best place is an outside location with cement or grass flooring so you don't ruin the interior of your home along with any furniture or decor. Set a course tarp across the area to provide traction.

    • 2). Set up a 2 feet deep child's inflatable pool at the center of the area where you will host the party. Do not fill it with water. Warn guests that they should not dance inside the pool; it is only for holding reserves of foam until you need them.

    • 3). Set a trash can into the pool so it sits near the side. Place a shop vacuum outside the pool so it sits close to the trash can. Drop the shop vacuum hose into the trash can.

    • 4). Connect a garden hose to a hot water source you can run continuously. Drop the other end of the hose into the trash can.

    • 5). Set your shop vacuum to blow air out the hose instead of sucking it in. Turn on the hot water supply so it shoots from the hose with the same force as the air exits the shop vacuum. Position both the shop vacuum hose and the water hose so their streams of air and water meet, causing the water to splash around in the trash can.

    • 6). Empty at least 10 bottles of liquid dish soap into the area where the water and air meet. Allow the suds to slop over the sides of the trash can and into the pool. When the pool fills with foam, spread it over the tarp surrounding the pool and continue making the foam until you have a thick layering of foam all over the party area.
