Generally most of the potential creditors look for the inquiry of past six months rather than in sighting inside two years of inquiry.

So there are few steps on how to remove inquiries from credit report as:
  • First of all, you need to get the copy of your credit report from the three credit bureaus. Then, you need to check and critically evaluate the inquiries listed on each of the reports. Sometimes, few of the inquiries are promotional inquires and these can be ignored. But you should evaluate between a soft inquiry and a hard inquiry.
  • The second step on how to remove credit inquiries from your credit reports involves getting the address of the organizations who denied giving you loan or your credit application. Get their addresses in written with you.
  • The third step involves writing a dispute letter so as removing negative inquiry from your credit report. Once the bureau or associated organization gets your dispute letter, they will start an inquiry over it. But before you send a dispute letter to them, make sure to send your letter through registered mail so that you can get a return confirmation that your letter was delivered. It is the responsibility of the bureau to revert back to your letter in a particular time span and also you will get a return confirmation that your letter was delivered to them. The law says that the bureau should see to your credit report and then investigate it thoroughly and remove unauthorized and inadequate inquiry from your credit report.

One should be very careful in recruiting anybody for removing out the credit inquiries from your credit reports. Also, whatever a recruiter will do to remove the negative inquires, even you can also do it on your own with just having insight knowledge and information about the entire matter.
