If you're like me you get really excited about selling stuff over the Internet.
I have so many ideas and believe that everyone should want to buy my products.
I envision myself making a fortune! I listen to the hype and want to make my first $50K NOW! 8 months into a great adventure I believe we must think straight and plan our strategies for Internet Marketing while still dreaming of great riches.
Dreams are what life is about.
But hard work and education are what help us reach our dreams.
Here are 6 basic points to consider while you start your online empire.
  1. "Start with the end in mind".
This comes from Stephen Covey's The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People and refers to the need for a goal.
In the online world "The End...
" might represent your first website, complete and benefitting thousands of people every day.
  2. Once you've identified an end then start breaking down the pieces/parts needed to reach that completion.
In other words do some brainstorming.
I like to start with a piece of paper and write ideas as they come.
I don't try to put them in any order but they must be related somehow.
For my internet marketing businesses I started with a bunch of my interests and possible domain names.
I also put down "website design, online courses, college classes, online searches, partners, mentors, html, terms, etc.
    "
  3. Take some time to think about these things then try to organize them in some type of order, allowing you to get to your GOAL.
When you have a path that gets you from a "Beginning" to "The End" you have a PLAN.
    Good for you!
  4. Create a budget of time and money.
Be realistic about how much time you can spend.
Be practical about how much money you are willing to put into accomplishing your goal.
After all, it may not succeed without several attempts.
  5. Start with a project that is relatively small that will allow you to complete it relatively quickly.
Learn without breaking the bank or putting too much time into the project.
Help yourself succeed by Keeping It Simple Smarty!
  6. Get Started!
If you can't pull the plug, you'll never get to THE END.
So, go for it.
Be willing to learn as you go.
You'll get there at some point when you start moving.
So GO FOR IT!
