How to Craft a Leather Armour on Runescape

1). Make sure you have a needle and thread in your inventory. These items are not used up when you craft leather armor, but you still need both. You can buy both at any crafting store.
2). Go to a tanner. You can identify this non-playable character by the map icon, which is a brown shirt. You can find tanners in Varrock, Al Kharid, Canifis and the Crafting Guild.
3). Click the tanner to bring up the tanning menu.
4). Click the type of leather you want to make and choose the quantity. You must have enough gold and the right type of hides. Soft leather and hard leather both use cowhides.
5). Use the needle in your inventory on the leather you received from the tanner. The crafting window will come up.
6). Click the piece of leather armor you wish to make. For example, if you want to make Snakeskin Chaps, click the "Chaps" icon after using the needle on snakeskin. After you select the armor piece, your leather armor will automatically start to be made.
