How to Season Ground Pork
- 1). Combine the ground pork, ground black pepper, dried parsley, salt, Italian seasoning mix, garlic powder, paprika, minced dried onions, crushed red pepper and crushed anise seed in a large bowl. Stir with a wooden spoon.
- 2). Cover the bowl with a sheet of plastic wrap and refrigerate for one hour. Remove from the refrigerator and allow to sit at room temperature for 45 minutes.
- 3). Preheat a large skillet over medium heat on a stove top and add the seasoned pork mixture.
- 4). Brown in the skillet, stirring frequently with a wooden spoon for 12 to 14 minutes or until the pork is no longer pink.
