    Misconceptions

    • It is often stated that the Great Wall of China can be seen from the moon. Astronauts who have been to the moon have said that isn't accurate. However, they have said it can be seen from Earth's orbit.

    Conservation

    • Because of its age and composition, the Great Wall is quickly deteriorating. Conservation and revitalization efforts are active and constant.
