New Hampshire's motto may be "Live Free or Die," but that doesn't keep projects in the state from costing money. New Hampshire provides a number of grants designed to enhance the general quality of life in the state. For those wishing to receive state monies, it is worthwhile to know what options exist for New Hampshire government grants. - The Math/Science Partnership Grant receives funding from the federal government under the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001. However, the program is administered by the State of New Hampshire Department of Education. The program funds professional development activities for teachers of math and science throughout the Granite State. These activities are designed to increase teacher knowledge and education skills in the subjects. The activities funded by the grant must be classroom-focused and designed with state and local standards regarding math and science.
