Assessment
- Performance appraisal is essential for any small or large business, because it allows the business owner to assess performance of both the company as a whole and of each employee. Employers who have a standard baseline measure of performance can determine whether employees are meeting minimum performance standards. Employees who continually perform lower than the required standards may have to be let go. Assessment is also good for the employee, because it allows him to know exactly where he stands with the employer.
