There will be a few issues you will have to sort out, mostly in the initial planning then we can get to the fun stuff.
Outdoor weddings are probably the most starry eyed, beautiful and exciting way to get married to the love of your life.
The setting for your wedding will not be restrained by the confines of any room or conventional venue, rather it will take full advantage of everything that nature is able to offer.
However to get the greatest effect you need to take great care with all the arrangements, there are a few things that can trip your plans up but if you follow the advice here, I am sure that together we can create you ideal big day.
A few vital questions we need to answer in your plan - The weather will be random so you would be best advised to try to a plan for whatever the weather has in store, some less complicated to deal with than others.
The first concern will be the time of year and the average weather conditions associated with that season and will be the starting point for your planning.
Too hot and sunny - be sure there is as much shade as possible either natural,or sun shades and umbrellas, make sure that you arrange for plenty of liquid refreshments to be on hand throughout the day, particularly before and during the ceremony.
Just be aware that alcoholic beverages have a dehydrating effect, so be sure that iced water and plenty of non-alcoholic drinks are offered.
Rain - the biggest downside for any outside ceremony, even the professional forecasters have a less than average accuracy rate, so you need to have standby arrangements, without which a sudden unexpected heavy shower can upset all your efforts,.
If you are having the ceremony outside and the reception inside or in a marquee, then make sure that they are very close to each other should there be any sign, in the 3 day forecast, of bad weather.
If this can be arranged then with a little last minute effort the ceremony can be moved under cover.
Wind - some locations will be more susceptible than some others, and a little breeze should not be too much of a problem, simply take it into account when you plan such things as your choice of a little heavier fabrics for the bridal parties outfits, light materials such as chiffon are best left indoors.
Hairstyles need to be simple and elegant so that can be quickly and easily touched up before you have the all important photographs.
It is also a good idea to have a place that the principle guests can have somewhere to re-do their hair and makeup before having their photographs taken.
Too Cold - this is almost always a seasonal choice, autumn outdoor weddings can be very magical, but the ceremony should be as brief as sensibly possible guests, small blankets even some sort of heaters would be welcome.
Have hot drinks available for your guests as they will be glad of them.
Everyone wants to be able to hear and see the ceremony, the arrangements need to take account of the setting of your chosen venue.
In the case of, for instance, a beach wedding the sound system will have to be sufficient to overcome the sound of the waves, make sure that you can arrange the seating so that all your family & friends get a good view.
It is your big day and everybody wants to get a good view of you! So if you want to use an individual special place, such as a garden wedding, for your big day, probably the most romantic setting for the two of you, then match the number of guests to the location, so that they can all be at ease.
Take another careful look at your chosen place, romance has a way of making places different to when you had that special moment, sometimes a second look it can be a little disappointing, so just make sure at the beginning of the planning stage that it matches your memories.
If the venue is in a public setting them make sure that you can get permission to have your wedding there and that there are facilities such as restrooms (most important) either close at hand or can be rented and placed on site.
These are the basics for the biggest day of year life, it is very important that you have all of these points alterations can be accomplished with the least amount of fuss.
