  St. Michael Parish is the home of Bridgetown, the capital city of Barbados. Bridgetown, which overlooks the Caribbean Sea, is the transportation hub and business center of Barbados. St. Michael also serves as the country's center of international trade and tourism, possessing the island's only deep-water harbor. Sugar towers sit on the dock, ready to be loaded onto transports, and big cruise lines Cunard and Royal Caribbean frequent the harbor.
