How to Get Your Husband to Stop Snoring

103 27
Ever get to work and just want to go back to sleep? I felt like that for probably 10 years, no lie.
My husband's snoring was just ear-shattering -- which is hilarious because he's typically such a quiet man.
He was slightly embarrassed about his snoring, but not enough to do much about it.
So that meant it was up to me to find a way to stop his snoring.
Let me tell you, I tried everything for those 10 years.
I did everything from make him gargle with salt water to those Breathrite Nasal Strips, I even tried making him stop using a pillow altogether.
None of them stuck, and some of them just made my husband as tired as I was in the morning.
I had all but given up on getting a good night's sleep for a couple years, and if I really needed the sleep I would go to the guestroom/office/storage closet/dust factory and sleep a little better.
But no matter how tired I was, it's always nice to wake up next to someone you love -- even if they're the ones waking you up at 3:30 in the morning.
I was complaining to a friend about it over my second cup of coffee in the morning.
She said she saw an anti-snoring pillow on one of those as seen on TV infomercials.
She said she loved those things, so I got one right away.
My husband and I didn't have much hope for the pillow, nothing else had worked after all.
Basically, it worked by cradling the head so that the air passages could open correctly.
It was really an ingenious idea -- I wish I had come of it.
But on the very first night with the SnoreEzzz pillow, we both slept like rocks.
I felt like I was 10 years younger overnight, it's amazing what a good night's sleep will get you.
I've even stopped drinking coffee since I don't need that boost in the morning.
