- 1). Turn off the dishwasher and remove any dishes from the appliance. Remove any residual soap from the dispensers.
- 2). Fill the detergent cup completely with citric acid crystals or powdered orange drink mix. Close the lid on the detergent cup.
- 3). Close the dishwasher door and set the dishwasher to run a full normal cycle. Allow the cycle to complete.
- 4). Fill the detergent cup with dishwasher detergent and set the dishwasher to a full normal cycle. Allow the cycle to complete.
