If you are reading this then you too are in a place I found myself in a while back.
Tennis elbow is a very frustrating injury which you may have got during tennis, golf and manual labour (it isn't just from tennis).
This injury limits the amount of pushing, pulling, twisting and grabbing you can which means everyday you will struggle with everyday tasks such as opening the door and picking up bags (if it's as bad as mine was you can't even pick up a coffee mug).
After becoming impatient with rest I looked for the best cure for tennis elbow but instead of finding just one, I found many.
  • Transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation
TENS is a method that involves applying a small charge to the affected area and gently stimulating it.
Many people have found this method great for relieving pain in the affected area.
  • Vibration Therapy
Vibration therapy is the same as TENS in a way but instead of using an electric charge you are using a vibration on the affected area to soothe the pain that is found in the forearm.
  • Massage therapy
This one is the most popular methods and one that seems to get a lot of good results (but it may not be the best cure for tennis elbow).
In this therapy what's involved is massaging the affected area in small circular motions creating an increase in blood flow and relaxed muscles.
You can choose to try doing this yourself or you may feel like going to a professional to get it done.
