How to Make Fried Chicken In The Oven
- 1). Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- 2). Place the oil and butter in a shallow cooking pan; put the pan in the oven to melt the butter. Set aside.
- 3). In a paper sack, combine the flour and spices.
- 4). Roll the chicken pieces, three at a time, in the melted oil and butter mixture.
- 5). Drop each chicken piece in the paper sack and shake.
- 6). Place the chicken in the pan with, skin-side down. Bake for 45 minutes.
- 7). With tongs, turn each chicken piece over and bake 5 to 10 minutes longer, or until the top crust begins to bubble.
