Use Your Knowledge to Time Your Tweets

As a real estate agent, you have a lot of knowledge about selling and buying houses so be creative with your content and the times you post it.
The more genuine content that you put out there on your Facebook fan page or your personal page or Twitter, the more people you are going to interest.
Every thing you post could mean something to a different fan.
Do some research on your topic and have an ongoing list of possible topics to post and then post several times per day.
Basic info that can be posted yet changed each time can be comments about the weather, a rating on a restaurant you just visited, an upcoming local or national event or wishing people a great Mother's Day, Father's Day, Fourth of July or other holiday.
Of course, you can also add specific information relating to real estate as well.
Combined with the casual notes about "What's on your mind?" it can be a good mix of content.
The key is to make sure that you're there to respond to the knowledge you give out.
This is your time to shine, so take advantage of it.
When you send three to five tweets a day, be there to respond when they are posted.
For people who want to say "thank you," you want to have a conversation with them.
Jump in with a question or comment to get it going back and forth.
If you post and leave, the person doesn't want to start talking twelve hours later.
They just won't be there.
Some people set up their tweets automatically, which is okay as long as you'll be there listening when it is sent so you can follow up.
Use the knowledge that you have.
And don't be afraid that it's not perfect.
If it's coming from the heart and you know it to be true, that's all that matters.
