    • 1). Type the website's URL into your browser's address bar.

    • 2). Type /CHANGELOG.txt after the site address, being sure to use uppercase for the filename but lowercase for the extension, as shown. Hit "Enter," or click "Go." The site's Drupal change log will be visible if it is publicly accessible on the server. The Drupal version number is contained in the header.

    • 3). Log into the site's control panel, if you are its owner, by adding "/admin" after your site's address. Click on "Reports," then "Status Reports." You'll see the Drupal version number on the top line of the page.
