Troubleshooting a K365m Karcher Pressure Washer
- 1). Verify that the power switch for the unit is in the "On" position. If the unit is turned off it will need to be turned on to provide power.
- 2). Check the power cord and see if it has been plugged into a power outlet or has become disconnected. Plug the power cord into the electrical outlet and then turn the unit back on.
- 3). Measure the length of the extension cord that you are using with a tape measure. If the length is greater than 25 ft the power washer may not get enough electricity for it to turn on.
- 4). Check to see if a breaker has tripped or a fuse has blown on the circuit panel. Reset the breaker or replace the fuse and then turn the unit on to see if the motor will start.
- 1). Verify that the diameter of the garden house you are using is at least ¾ of an inch. The power washer will not get enough water if a smaller diameter house is used.
- 2). Examine the garden house to see if there are any kinks that can restrict water flow. Remove the kinks from the house and see if the water pressure increases.
- 3). Check the faucet that you are using and make sure that the valve is open all of the way. Turn the handle of the faucet clockwise to open the valve.
- 4). Remove the inlet filter from the pressure washer and see if it is dirty or clogged. Rinse the filter with warm water to remove any debris and then place it back in the unit.
