When was the last time you heard someone say, "I love my hair?" Doesn't happen very often and when it does it always takes me off guard.
What is it about hair that makes everyone perpetually dissatisfied? Maybe the fact that we have to mess with it everyday.
Maybe the fact that there are so many options available.
I love to wander a beauty supply store and see all the products for hair.
There are curly hair products, straight hair products, products to turn curly hair straight and visa versa, although if your hair is as straight as mine, I can tell you nothing is going to make fine, limp hair curly.
But you can make beautiful voluminous, bouncing hair straight, although for the life of me I can't imagine why one would want to.
There are products for bleached hair, products to give you 18 inch mohawks, color it blue if you would like.
Why are tall mohawks always blue? Just wondering.
Why not orange as that is the color of creativity and if you have an 18 inch mohawk you must be relatively creative.
There are products available for course hair and fine hair, thick and thin, purple hair and black and every color in between.
In our shower alone we have shampoo for curly hair and shampoo for fine hair, shampoo for colored and shampoo for little kids, it smells like fruit punch.
With so many options on the market, you would think everyone would be perfectly happy with their hair, but still, no one is.
Maybe we just have too many options.
