- 1). Unthread the shoe laces that came with the shoes.
- 2). Cut two lengths of ribbon 1 inch longer than the shoe laces.
- 3). Wrap tape around the ends of each ribbon to make them easier to thread.
- 4). Lace the shoes with the ribbon.
- 5). Cut off the taped ends of the ribbon. Tie a knot in the end of the ribbon to prevent fraying.
