How to Find Someone to Measure Your Bra Size
- 1). Find a store that sells lingerie or women's undergarments. You can either go to a specialty store such as Victoria's Secret or the women's-clothing section of a department store. If privacy is an issue for you, go to a specialty store, as it tends to be a little quieter and caters almost exclusively to women.
- 2). Tell the sales clerk that you are interested in buying a bra and are unsure of your size. Ask her to measure your bustline for a proper fit. Remember that this is a very common request and she will be happy to comply. In fact, because retail sales rely heavily on customer relationships, she will probably do her best to make you feel comfortable.
- 3). Accompany the sales clerk to the fitting area. Using a fitting tape measure, she will measure underneath your breasts to determine your chest size (denoted by a number such as 32). She will then measure across your breasts to obtain the cup size (denoted by letters such as B or C). She will let you know your size and will likely help you find new bras.
